Who we are
ESL Electricians is an electrical contractor based in Ascot, Berkshire. This page explains what we do with personal information collected through this website.
What we collect
If you complete an enquiry form we collect the details you give us: your name, telephone number, email address, the property address where relevant, and whatever you tell us about the work. We do not collect anything else through the form.
Like most websites, our hosting produces standard server logs which may include IP addresses. These are used for security and diagnostics.
What we use it for
Solely to respond to your enquiry, to quote for work, and to carry out and certify that work if you go ahead. We do not sell your details, we do not pass them to third parties for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within a reasonable period. Where work is carried out we keep records of the job and the certification, because electrical certificates need to be available to you and to whoever inspects the installation next.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it. Email or ring using the details on this site and we will deal with it.
Cookies
This site uses only what is necessary for it to function. If analytics are added, this page will be updated to say so and what they collect.
This is a plain-English summary rather than a legal document. It should be reviewed before the site goes live.
