Ringing is quickest
For anything urgent — a circuit that keeps tripping, a burning smell, no power — please ring rather than filling in a form. You will get an electrician on the phone rather than an answering service, and a straight answer about how soon we can get to you.
If we are on a job and cannot pick up, leave a message with the address and what the problem is, and we will come back to you.
Getting a quote
Most jobs can be priced from a description. The more you can tell us at the outset, the more accurate the figure:
- The address or at least the postcode, so we know the travel
- Roughly how big the property is, and how old
- What you want doing, and whether anything has already been quoted
- For a consumer unit or an EICR, a photograph of the existing board helps enormously
- When you need it done, and whether a sale or a tenancy depends on it
Quotes are written, free, and the price does not move unless the job does. We are not VAT registered, so the figure quoted is the figure you pay.
Where we work
Based in Ascot, covering roughly half an hour in each direction — east Berkshire, north-west Surrey and just over the Hampshire border. If you are outside that it is still worth asking; we cover more than we advertise, particularly for existing customers.
Hours
Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. Saturday, 9am to 1pm. Closed Sunday. For a genuine emergency outside those hours, ring anyway — we will take the call and tell you honestly what we can do.
